Problem

A busy lounge and nightclub needs one system for its operations, priced in shillings and usable by staff in three languages.

Approach

Building it on top of the club's static HTML prototype, with the build plan, service costs and architecture decisions recorded in the repository as it goes.

Tech highlights

Next.js 16, React 19 and Tailwind CSS 4 with shadcn/ui; Neon serverless Postgres through Drizzle ORM; Neon Auth; environment validation with Zod; Resend for email, Twilio for SMS and WhatsApp, M-Pesa Daraja for payments, and the Claude API.
